We have a brand new Pink & Black splatter variant of The Dicks "Hate The Police" 7" limited to just 300 copies and a reprint of one of their original T-shirt designs that hasn't been available in over 35 years! Shirts come in sizes Small through 4XL! Pre-order now HERE!

Just a reminder, this is the only official reissue of "Hate The Police" since they put it out on their own label back in 1980. Everything else has been a low quality bootleg. Original copies have recent sold for as high as $3000 and musically...that's totally worth it. Lucky for you we're selling these faithful reproductions for faaaaar less. These tend to sell out very quickly so we don't recommend waiting if you can avoid it.

These are very limited and will not be available anywhere else. We expect these to ship on or around April 15th 2022. These are the highest quality pressings ever issued. Freshly remastered and they sound absolutely fantastic. All the artwork has been fully restored and in some cases finally printed correctly for the first time ever! The "At Your Funeral" 7" is a collection of PG songs from the Dillinger Four split and Down In Front compilation together for the first time ever! We also have two brand new oversize print t-shirts with artwork from both records! These are a very limited print and will not be remade!

We're very proud to announce that we are reissuing the entire Pinhead Gunpowder catalog on vinyl! Order now at the link in our menu bar!

Although they are very rarely seen in public Pinhead Gunpowder has been a band for 31 years and are currently constituted as Aaron Cometbus (Crimpshrine, Cleveland Bound Death Sentence), Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day, The Longshot), Jason White (The Influents, Green Day) and Bill Schneider (Monsula, Dead Sound).

There will be 5 phases spread across the next year with an LP, 7" and two exclusive t-shirts in each phase. Phase 1, due April 30th 2021, is the Jump Salty LP and Trundle & Spring 7"! Pinhead Gunpowder hasn't had official merch of any sort in years and these are truly special oversize prints. Jump Salty has been cut at 45rpm for the first time and it is LOUD. These are definitely the best sounding editions of either record to date.

Each record is pressed on a mail order exclusive color (visible above) only available from our website and each shirt is available separately or as part of the Phase 1 bundle.

We are also rolling out the Pinhead Gunpowder Discography Club for those of you who want to sign up for the whole run now! If you subscribe now you will get each phase as they come out on a PGDC exclusive color. We are only going to press enough of these to fulfill subscription orders and subscriptions will only be available for purchase until April 1st 2021. After that we're closing it up!

Big Rig "Expansive Heart" 7" Reissue coming October 31st!

Big Rig was a very short lived project from Jesse Michaels (Operation Ivy, Common Rider, Classics of Love), Doug Sangalang (Screw 32, Limp, One Time Angels), Kevin Cross (The Nerve Agents, Pitch Black), Jeremy Goody (Pitch Black) and Brandon Riggen. The band rose and fell in 1993. They played a single show and left behind a demo and this EP which was originally on Lookout Records in 1994.

We are extremely proud to be able to reissue this EP. This is a vastly under appreciated piece of east bay punk, a hidden gem of the Lookout catalog and personally one of my favorite records. We’re producing 1000 total copies housed in a faithful reproduction of the original 8 panel booklet/sleeve.

This summer marks 40 years since the release of one of what we feel is one the most important singles in American punk history. Fronted by an aggressive, openly gay, unrepentant communist, The Dicks were an elemental force in the early 80's Texas punk scene. Their influence on countless musicians, artists and activists world wide four decades later can be felt today. Sadly, instead of being an interesting artifact from a troubled time long since past, "Hate The Police" is still depressingly relevant.

We initially re-released this single in 2012 with the blessing of all the living band members and started work to issue it again earlier this May for the 40th Anniversary. In the midst of this work the killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer a week ago broke all of our hearts. The sadness and anger in the streets across this nation is the result of an insanely unjust justice system and hundreds of years of systemic oppression & violence against black people in this country. White people in this country need to do a lot of work to dismantle this system and help bring about change. This could be where we turn a corner towards a brighter future if we're brave enough to make it happen. It's going to take efforts big and small in the near term and the long haul. In our heads, our daily lives, our businesses and our governments.

In an effort to try to provide some support for causes we believe in that are furthering progress and helping people directly on the national and local level we are donating the proceeds from every copy sold from this repress to Black Lives Matter and Homeless Youth Alliance San Francisco.

To go with this special re-release we're also producing the first officially licensed Dicks shirts & pullover hoodies in years. A portion of the proceeds will be going to BLM & HYASF as well. We're making a limited amount of these and will likely not produce a second run so if you're interested in picking one up we recommend doing so as soon as you can.
